A Charles II sterling silver tankard, John Gibbs, London, 1670
Good clear hallmarks on cover and side of the body, the handle with maker's mark only. Cylindrical body with a circular base, smooth surface, shaped handle with a curled grip, flat lid with a slight doming.

- The Maker’s Mark: John Gibbs
- The Lion Passant: The Mark that indicates Sterling Silver
- Leopard’s Head Crowned: City of London
- The Date Letter: 1670
