A Charles II sterling silver tankard, TL silversmith, London, 1674

Tapered-sided body with a hexagonal shield at the base of the handle, double-scroll grip, contemporary heraldic coat of arms on the front, base engraved with an approximate weight of 33=4. Marked "T.L" in a rectangular punch with cut corners.
