A George III sterling silver tea caddy, Albert Schurman, London, 1761

Rectangular convex shape on four shell-shaped feet. Body chased with floral and geometric motifs. Lid with a handle in the shape of leaves and an acorn.

2. The Lion Passant: The Mark that indicates Sterling Silver
3. Leopard’s Head Crowned: City of London
4. The Date Letter: 1761

Slight signs of age and superficial scratches. The four hallmarks are present on the base of the tea caddy. The lion passant and the maker's mark on the side of the lid.
