Description
A George III sterling silver coffee pot, Charles Wright, London, 1771
Of baluster form on circular foot, chased with ribbon-tied husk swags, the leaf-capped scalloped spout with acanthus leaf decoration, the domed cover with narrow gadroon rim and chased with swags below an acorn finial, engraved to either side.
Sterling Silver with 4 Hallmarks:

- The Lion Passant: The Mark that indicates Sterling Silver
- Leopard’s Head Crowned: City of London
- The Date Letter: 1771

Slight signs of age and superficial scratches. The four hallmarks are present on the base of the coffee pot. The lion passant on the side of the cover.
