A George IV sterling silver chocolate pot, George Cowie, London, 1826
Tapering cylindrical on a moulded foot, the body chased overall with rocaille, scrolls, fruit and floral garlands, with bird's-neck spout and wood scroll handle, the cover surmounted by a flower finial, each side chased with a Rococo cartouche enclosing on one side an engraved coat-of-arms.
